FIAT DOBLO starter motor maybe Hi all ive got 07 fiat doblo cargo van 1.3 multijet i was driving around first thing happened was the oil light came on so i check its full then the glow plug lights came for no reason now the van does not start at all is it a new starter motor or wiring problem. I had a 1.3 Multijet Panda prior to my 1.9 Doblo and that gave good but not outstanding economy for a tiny city car at 57 mpg. The engine was super smooth but somehow felt wrong in a small car. People go on about the 16 valve multijet engine being smooth and revable but the last thing you want for economy is to rev the engine. I have a vaguely similar issue in a 2010 Doblo Cargo 1.6 Multijet, start off from cold with a little black smoke on acceleration, once warm on the ring road give it some boot and it loses vacuum to the wastegate (tested by a gauge) so lose boost then goes into Limp mode with overboost code.
